As part of its Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 novelties, Rolex has introduced two new versions of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual. This release marks the first time the current-generation OP models are crafted in gold, as well as the first instance of hour markers made from natural stone—a debut for the brand.
The Oyster Perpetual 28 in yellow gold features a green stone-lacquer dial, while the Oyster Perpetual 34 in Everose gold is paired with a blue stone-lacquer dial.

The 28mm model in the collection is crafted in 18 ct yellow gold and features a green stone-lacquer dial, complemented by green heliotrope hour markers at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock.
In addition to this variant, the lineup also introduces a new black dial version, alongside white mother-of-pearl and turquoise options, both of which are enhanced with diamond-set indices and diamond bezels.

The new Rolex Oyster Perpetual 34 features an Everose gold case paired with a blue stone-lacquer dial. Its hour markers are crafted from blue dumortierite, while the remaining indices and both models’ hands are filled with Rolex Chromalight for enhanced legibility in low light.
The collection also expands with a black dial variant, as well as brown and mother-of-pearl options, both elevated with diamond-set details.

Both new versions introduce predominantly satin-finished cases, marking another first for Rolex. This brushed aesthetic is intended to soften the overall appearance, although the domed bezels and case flanks remain polished for contrast.
Both models measure just over 10mm in thickness and offer 100 metres of water resistance, enabled by the signature Oyster case construction and Twinlock screw-down crowns.
They are fitted with three-link Oyster bracelets, also finished in satin, and integrated with ceramic inserts within the links for added durability, along with the Easylink comfort extension system for quick adjustment.

Both models are powered by the Rolex Calibre 2232, which carries the Rolex Superlative Chronometer certification. It delivers a 55-hour power reserve and precision rated at +2/–1 seconds per day, supported by a Syloxi hairspring and a silicon balance wheel for enhanced stability and performance.

Until now, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual has been one of the most understated models in the Rolex catalogue—an ideal everyday watch that blends in quietly on the wrist. While introducing solid gold certainly adds presence and reduces some of that discreet appeal, the satin finishing and domed bezel help preserve a relatively low-profile character compared to something like a gold Datejust with its fluted bezel and fully polished bracelet.

Rolex will offer these pieces at official retail prices of approximately SGD 40,500 for the green Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28 and SGD 51,300 for the blue Rolex Oyster Perpetual 34. For more information, please visit the official Rolex website.
