Among its Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 novelties, Rolex has introduced new versions of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual that revive the iconic Jubilee Dial of the 1970s. Defined by the Rolex name repeated across the entire dial surface, this design has long been a collector favorite.
To mark the brand’s 100th anniversary in 2026, Rolex brings the Jubilee Dial back exclusively for the 41mm, 36mm, and 31mm Oyster Perpetual models. In this new interpretation, the Rolex wordmark appears in ten different colors, creating the most vibrant and visually striking evolution of the Jubilee Dial to date.
Aside from their vibrant dials, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Jubilee Dial models remain mechanically and structurally identical to the standard production versions. They are crafted entirely from Rolex Oystersteel, with case sizes matching the familiar 41mm, 36mm, and 31mm formats across the range.
As expected, each model maintains a water resistance of 100 metres, achieved through a screw-down Twinlock crown system and solid screw-down caseback. Design-wise, they continue the established Oyster Perpetual formula, featuring smooth bezels, flat sapphire crystals, and a combination of brushed and polished surface finishing that defines the collection’s understated aesthetic.
Powering the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Jubilee Dial models are either the Rolex Calibre 3230 or the Rolex Calibre 2232, depending on case size. The Oyster Perpetual 41 (ref. 134300) and Oyster Perpetual 36 (ref. 126000) are equipped with Calibre 3230, while the Oyster Perpetual 31 (ref. 277200) uses Calibre 2232.
The larger Calibre 3230 features the Chronergy escapement paired with a blue Parachrom hairspring for enhanced efficiency and resistance to magnetism, whereas the smaller Calibre 2232 is fitted with Rolex’s Syloxi silicon hairspring. Both movements are certified to Rolex Superlative Chronometer standards, ensuring accuracy of –2/+2 seconds per day.
While both operate at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), Calibre 3230 delivers a longer 70-hour power reserve, compared to approximately 55 hours for Calibre 2232.
Similarly, the three-link Oyster bracelet fitted to the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Jubilee Dial models is identical to that of other current-production Oyster Perpetual references. It is crafted entirely from Rolex Oystersteel, with brushed upper surfaces that align with the finishing on the top of the lugs.
As with all modern Rolex bracelets, it is constructed from solid links secured by single-sided screws for adjustability and durability. The bracelet is completed by the Oysterclasp, which integrates the Easylink extension system, allowing the wearer to adjust the bracelet length by approximately 5mm without the need for tools.
Given that the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Jubilee Dial models are mechanically identical to their standard-production counterparts, the defining feature is their multi-colored dial execution. To achieve the Jubilee motif, Rolex applies a total of 10 different lacquer colors, each layered sequentially rather than simultaneously, ensuring precise control over the pattern and finish.
While the dial layout remains unchanged—featuring 18k white gold hands and hour markers filled with blue-emitting Chromalight—the visual effect is far more expressive and graphic than standard references. The result evokes a similar creative spirit to the off-catalog Day-Date 36 Puzzle Dial models introduced in 2023, and it effectively serves as a contemporary successor to the discontinued Oyster Perpetual Celebration Dial variants, which are no longer part of the brand’s catalogue.
Despite featuring multi-colored lacquer dials, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Jubilee Dial models are priced the same as their standard-production counterparts. The 31mm model is approximately S$8,500, the 36mm version is around S$9,100, and the 41mm Oyster Perpetual is about S$9,500.
In recent years, Rolex has gradually moved away from its traditionally conservative design language, and this latest Oyster Perpetual Jubilee Dial release feels like a notable shift in that direction. However, when compared with the Puzzle Piece Day-Date and Oyster Perpetual Celebration dials, these colorful Jubilee editions feel relatively subtle, while still reviving a 1970s-inspired aesthetic to mark Rolex’s milestone 100th anniversary.
